A Designer dog, the Boglen Terrier is a hybrid cross between a pure-bred Boston Terrier and a pure-bred Beagle.

The Boston Terrier:

Clever and playful, the Boston is very devoted to its owner.  It is usually well-mannered but can be a bit stubborn.  Some do bark quite a bit.  Not a barker, however, Bostons make excellent watch dogs. They take pride in  defending their masters. It can be reserved with strangers and may be aggressive toward strange dogs.

The Beagle:

Bred as a pack hunter, the Beagle thrives on social interaction.  It loves to explore the outdoors. With proper exercise, it is a calm, tolerant and amiable house-pet.  The Beagle is good with children and always ready to play.  Beagles have been bred to follow their noses.  They may try to wander off to follow an interesting scent, so keep your Beagle on a leash.
